Not only are the controls actually great for a PS1 game of the era, but Alien Resurrection is still a hugely atmospheric, pretty scary game – much more terrifying than the film it’s based on. An absolute triumph that was ahead of its time, Alien Resurrection should stand proudly in its place on the underrated PS1 games list. When I was a kid this was one of the first psx games I truly enjoyed the most. One day I broke it. Now I cant even find this game that I can afford because its too expensive. So I am going to make a fan make. It will be a while. I have to figure out how to program the box. That's just one random fight of this old PSone game. It's one of my favourite games and i think it didn't get as much popularity as it deserved to have.

Notes
- An NTSC-U build dated a month and a half before the final.
- Uses a different, much more animated Midway logo sequence.
- The options menu on the main menu uses a slightly different layout.
- Lots is missing from the credits.
- In menus, the start button is displayed as the word 'START', rather than a small sprite of the start button.
- The triangle and circle button options shown at the bottom of the screen on the pre-gameplay menu have switched positions.
- No 'mission incomplete' screen comes up after quitting a mission.
